Administration Support Officer Team Leader Full Time Salary $70,000.00 plus Super.
About the role
The Administration Support Officer (ASO) Team Leader coordinates and oversees the administrative service requirements of their GEO Healthcare location. The role is responsible for supervising and/or performing the administrative duties which support the provision of health service delivery; including the scheduling of health-related appointments (to ensure patients receive healthcare within contractual timeframes), maintaining patient health records (including maintaining confidentiality and security of the records) and the provision of activity and other reporting requirements. The ASO Team Leader assists the Health Services Manager and/or Primary Healthcare Team Leader in the overall organisation and operation of the GEO Healthcare facility. The role requires the incumbent to perform all duties in accordance with the GEO Healthcare Values.

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
- Demonstrated understanding of office procedures.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Experience in and/or aptitude for coordinating the activities of a small team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels; and to establish a collaborative work environment.
- Experience with a variety of computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
- Good keyboard skills, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proven written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and to meet deadlines as directed.
- Completion of (or willingness to undertake) a Medical Terminology Course.
Other Requirements of the role:
- Valid and current full Australian driver’s license.
- Ability to work within a prison setting, which will involve direct contact with people in prison associated with the delivery of healthcare.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
